aadambautistaa: To You,  Please don’t try to change to impress a guy. Don’t try to act or look differently from who you are so a guy can notice or like you as tempting as it may be. There are million of opinions out there on what a “perfect girl” is like, and I’m sure you’ve seen or heard at least one of them out but I plea to you not to try to follow them. I mean I heard a lot of them: she has to be athletic but not too manly; she has to someone who is smart and can actually talk to you about interesting things; she has to be funny; she can’t be to clingy but she has to give enough attention her guy; she has can’t be flirting with other guys but she can’t a buzz kill and not talk to anyone; she has to be like this or that. And then there’s the whole thing about having the perfect body. Where you can’t be too big or too skinny. You can’t be too tall or too little. Where she has to dress a certain way that’s not too ‘sluty’ but not ‘ugly’. And so on and so on. But please don’t change unless it’s a change for yourself. Everyone in the world has expectation about what the “perfect person” is like, but most of the time the people they fall for completely surprises them. Someone won’t fall in love with you because you do a certain thing or look a certain way…but it will be because you can make them smile and feel a way like no one else can. Wait for the guy who is worthy of who you truly are and not the person who has changed everything they represent to the media and others opinions, because trust me when I say who you really are is worth it. No matter how ugly you feel about yourselves sometimes, don’t put on extra make up or dress a way you’re not particularly comfortable with to try to feel more beautiful, because you’ll never be truly happy with that. Be patient for the guy who makes you feel beautiful for being just the way you are because in there eyes you’re beauty lies in what makes you unique and every little thing in what makes you who you are. So don’t change, you’re already perfect the way you are and a guy in searching for you right now; Don’t make it harder for him to find you by pretending to be something you’re not by trying to change your true self.
